Courtney Love has hit out at Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl, claiming that Kurt Cobain "loathed" him. The song "Let It Die" on Foo Fighters new album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, is widely assumed to be about the relationship between Kurt and Courtney. It contains the lyric: "A simple man and his blushing bride/Intravenous, intertwined...You're so considerate/Did you ever think of me?" Writing on her MySpace page, Courtney said: "As for that drummer, well he's hit on me so many times. He's just a very very conflicted guy about me, which is why he continually writes songs about me to hear he 'hates' me more than 'anyone else'. "Kurt loathed HIM more than anyone else (except a journalist). In his will he made a codicil that Grohl was no longer a member of Nirvana. I just ignored the guy and will continue to." She added: |

Courtney Love Settles the Last of Her Nirvana Money Disputes
Journal

"I did not fuck you," was how Courtney Love responded when told by her Seattle attorneys that she owed them up to $340,000 plus interest. That was the balance due on legal fees attorney Katherine Hendricks and O.Yale Lewis say Love incurred in a 2002 lawsuit against former members of her late husband's band, Nirvana, from which she ultimately earned at least $9 million. But the troubled rocker and widow of Kurt Cobain has now agreed to settle the attorneys' tab for an undisclosed amount, according to King County Superior Court records. The settlement, effective Monday, Sept. 17, apparently ends a three-year claim by Hendricks and Lewis, who alleged Love breached their legal-services contract. Hendricks would not discuss details of the settlement or confirm whether Love had paid her debt on time, as she agreed to do in an Aug. 28 settlement report. A trial |

Jared Leto EPA/GEORGE FREY Courtney Love saved Jared Leto from his karaoke hell. The actor - who is also the lead singer of rock band 30 Seconds to Mars - was made to go on stage to perform a song at a recent party. Leto admits the supposedly 'fun' experience turned into a nightmare when he forgot the words to the song, and was hopelessly struggling until rocker Love came to his rescue. The 'Fight Club' star told Radio 1: "I was at a party and got on stage to do karaoke. I was forced up and I quickly realised I'd made a mistake because I picked a song that I didn't know any of the words to. It was one of the worst experiences ever, but luckily Courtney got on stage and saved me. She was great." Earlier this year, Leto broke his nose after an attempt |

Kurt Cobain is legally recognized to have committed suicide; however, several theories have surfaced suggesting that the frontman of Nirvana was murdered.
The main proponent of the existence of a conspiracy surrounding Cobain's death is Tom Grant, the private investigator employed by Courtney Love after Cobain's disappearance from rehab. Grant was still under Love's employ when Cobain's body was found. Grant believes that Cobain's death was a homicide. What do you think, Murder or Suicide? |
