Tragic NIRVANA star KURT COBAIN is to be honoured by fans in Hoquiam, Washington with a tribute concert on Saturday (15Sep07). Bands from Seattle and the surrounding area will perform Nirvana tunes at the memorial, which is being held to raise money for a youth centre and memorial park in Cobain's name. Cobain committed suicide in 1994. |

An all-ages concert in Hoquiam next weekend, featuring some of the top punk and grunge rock bands in the Northwest and home-grown talent, isn’t quite a belated birthday party for the late, great Kurt Cobain. But it’s the thought that counts, and this could be the foundation for bigger things. |
