My Chemical Romance could be set to make a film version of their latest album according to front man Gerard Way.
It could happen says Gerard Way... Rumours have been rife amongst fans that the band are to turn ?The Black Parade? into a full length movie feature. However, Way says that though there are no firm plans set in place its definitely something he?d be interested in. He told Billboard: ?It is something that we would love to see. I can't say that people should expect it in the future, but I know it's in the public vibe right now and people are talking about it. So, we'll see." My Chemical Romance are set to win big at the Kerrang! Awards 2007 after receiving four nominations. The heavyweight American rock band will do battle with British newcomers, rave-metal group, Enter Shikari, who have also received four nods. My Chemical Romance's 'Welcome to the Black Parade' will go head-to-head in the Best Single category with Enter Shikari's 'Sorry, You're Not A Winner'. The bands are also pitted against each other for Best Album for 'The Black Parade' and 'Take To The Skies' respectively. My Chemical Romance are also in the running for Best Video for their promo for 'Welcome to the Black Parade' and Best International Band, while Enter Shikari have been nominated for Best British Band and Best Live Band.
