MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE ran screaming from a recording session in Los Angeles, after taping their last album in a haunted studio.
The band were booked into the infamous Paramour Mansion to record 2006's The Black Parade.
Frontman Gerard Way reveals, "A lot of crazy stuff happened in the Paramour Mansion. Me and Mikey (Way) were in the kitchen making coffee and this door slammed in front of us. It was this door to the basement that nobody ever went into and we just ran like girls.
"There were lots of moments like that, where you'd hear people scream faucets would draw baths for people, you'd hear conversations and it was unnaturally cold."

Klaxons have replaced James Morrison as Britain’s representative for the New Sounds Of Europe Award at the upcoming MTV Europe Video Music Awards in Munich.

Following Morrison’s withdrawal due to recording commitments, Klaxons will now join seventeen band’s from across the European continent who will be narrowed down to three via an online vote.

The three bands will then attend the awards ceremony on November 1st, with an SMS and online vote on the night selecting the eventual winner.

The winning band will then join the live line-up – which already includes My Chemical Romance and the Foo Fighters.

A spokesperson for Klaxons said: “We're excited to be the UK entrant for the NSOE award and at the prospect of performing at the EMAs in Munich to cap what has been a fantastic year for us so far."

Frank Iero, popularly known as the rhythm guitarist of the alternative rock band My Chemical Romance, was recently tattooed by L.A. Ink star and portrait expert, Kat Von D.  In the episode entitled “Kat's Gnarly Day” which aired last Tuesday, the 25-year-old musician from Belleville, New Jersey acquired his latest skin art that features the image of someone very dear to him.

“I am getting a tattoo of my grandfather, his name is also Frank and he plays drums, he wanted me to become a drummer since I was born,” Iero said during the L.A. I don't really know where it came from, but I've always been a staunch defender of correct grammar. It seems to bother a lot of people, so I used to blame it on my father's job as a newspaper copy editor, or on my mother's job as a school principal. These sound like good excuses, but until earlier this year, I don't think I'd ever had a conversation with either of them about syntax or punctuation. It can't be their fault.

Frontman Gerard Way says that he will also take on directing duties for both of the music videos.

In other MCR news, the band's bassist Michael Way will, according to his brother Gerard, "rejoin the outfit on tour this fall."

The nominations for the forthcoming MTV Europe Music Awards, set to take place in Munich on November 1, have been announced today (September 24), with the likes of Amy Winehouse, My Chemical Romance and Arctic Monkeys all receiving nominations.

Fans of MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE  may have been surprised when the band was tapped to open for BON JOVI next month at the christening of New Jersey's Prudential Center. But MCR frontman GERARD WAY is actually a fellow Jersey native and a big fan of JON and the boys. Speaking to the University of Maine's campus newspaper last week, Way said, quote, "I grew up as a Bon Jovi fan. Whenever you're dealing with Bon Jovi or [BRUCE] SPRINGSTEEN, it's just a great honor."
