HIM heads into darkness with 'Venus Doom'

 Finnish alt-metal rockers HIM [ tickets ], who just finished a main-stage stint on the Projekt Revolution tour, are setting out to support their new album with a major North American jaunt.
After shows this month in Greece and Germany, the band will kick off a run of US and Canadian dates Oct. 18 in Sayreville, NJ. HIM has coast-to-coast club and theater shows on the books through Dec. 1, after which the quartet will head for the UK. North American concerts are listed below; overseas dates can be found at the band's website. |

Along with a new site and fanclub, we also want to make sure you get the best message board possible, so the official HIM message board will be transformed this Thursday the 6th into a brand new community that will serve all of you even better. The HIM fanclub will also launch that day as well, which you can read all about by going to http://heartagram.com/upgrade. To make this upgrade run smoothly, we will need to "freeze" the boards tomorrow, Wednesday the 5th. HIM frontman Ville Valo and bassist Mikko Henrik Julius Paananen (a.k.a. Migé) were recently interviewed for a segment on "Steven's Untitled Rock Show" on Fuse TV. Watch the interview, which was conducted on the band's current Projekt Revolution tour, below.
